Trex Installation Problem

hi

i'm getting this error during TREX installation (step 2) on Win32 Oracle9i. Kindly help.

MOS-01012 PROBLEM: 'Y:/netweaver_components\TREX\PYTHON/NT/I386/pythonsetup.exe /s /v"/qn INSTALLDIR=D:\usr\sap\Python /l! D:\usr\sap\trex_02\pythonsetup.log"' returned with '1153' which is not a defined as a success code.</i>

Hi Arun,

Can you check D:\usr\sap\trex_02\pythonsetup.log to see whether you have any detail info on why the installation failed.

There is no such log file there!

Anything in the log files at ..\Program File\..\TREX\MAIN

directory.

hi,

There are no files in the TREX\main directory. btw, i'm also running a Portal server on the same computer EP6 SP16. Could that be the problem?

and as soon as my installation starts, it stops with the afore said error (my first post).

i installed python manually after downloading form the site.

Hi AK,

could you please check the folder "python" is created under the folder d:\usr\sap? otherwise create the folder d:\usr\sap\python and click retry
