Hi All,

Please do anybody have any idea about Following registers relating to Excise?

ER1,

ER2,

ER5,

ER6 etc...

Hi

ER1 is the monthly Excise Return submitted to the Excise department which will have information about the material removal as well the Cenvat balances, total cenvat credit availed and utilised. It was earlier called as RT12.

ER1 is return submitted by Manufacturers

ER2 is return for 100% Export oriented unit

ER3 is return for small scale industry claiming exemption
