HI,
If material cal can be sold KG then please give me idea what is the base unit of measure.
In the material master net weight ,gross weight, sales unit of measure, availablity check can be a mandatory field or not. Please give me the solution.
Thanks,
Siku.
If material would be sold in KG then maintain Base Unit of Measure as KG in Material Master. If thers is some different Sales Unit, then you have to maintain in the Conversion Factor of Material Master.
If you want to make fields mandatory , then go to OMS9.
Ex:- Field Ref - FERT & Selection Group :- 19.Maintain Req. Entry

Hi,
The base unit of measure should be KG for your requirement.
This you have to maintain in material master.
Goto MM02.Enter your material.
Maintain it in basic data under general data.
In standard in materail master, except availability every thing is non mandatory.
You can make your own thing as per your requirement. If want, you can make those fields as mandatory also.In OMS9 T.Code you can do this.

Krishna.

Miku,
Its completely depends on ur process. I mean these fields generally we have to maintain,
So as per standard make them mandatory.
Thanks,
Raja

Hi
You can maintain Base unit of measure as per your requirement.
Actually base unit of measure is the measure of how the material is procured or Manufactred.
You can maintain the BASE UNIT of measure as Milligram or Sheet for sales unit as KG
In material master Except Availability check all are non mandatory.
Availability check is only mandatory.

santosh
