Polling a text file from sap application server

Hello experts

We have a scenario in which we have to poll a file from a sap application server & sent it through PI to another FTP server.How to go about this scenario.Could anyone Plz through some light on this.

Hi!

YOur PI system needs access to the file system on you SAP application system. Then you can configure a PI FTP/File Sender Adapter to pull the files form this file system.

hi,

you can use the standard file adapter - there is no difference from what you pool it
