Error in logon

Hi,

Please can anybody help me to over come the error that am facing to logon after installation of BW 3.0b, the thing is that i have successfully installed everything but for the first time when i loged on for client 100 the message was " u have to work only in the client 000" and when i loged on for the client 000 message is" u should not work for the client 000" n showing as ABAP runtime errors, And when i tried to logon the next day its not getting logged.

Some of the errors i found r:

R/3 Basis System: Operating system call recv failed (error no. 10054)

R/3 Basis System: Message server disconnected

So please help me to further, thanks in advance for ur help.

Hi Lavanya:

I think you are facing different kind of errors here, the first "You have to work only in client 000" means that you haven't configured your default BW working client in table RSADMIN/RSADMINA. You will need to specify your BW client, in your case 100, and then you will be able to work fine with RSA1 and the other transactions. Regarding "You should not work for the client 000" is corrected with the above mentioned procedure.

Regarding the error 10054. You should need to check if your BW system is up and running or if the Message Server is unavailable; you can check for additional information in the corresponding developer traces located under:

usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<nbr>/work

See dev_disp, dev_ms.
