How to default Valid to date in Contract

Hi,

We want to default Valid to date (VBAK-BNDDT) in Contract as 31.12.9999. Is there any way in standard SAP to do this?

Hi,

As per standard SAP VBAK-BNDDT is for quotation Validity for contract VEDA-VENDDAT. In case of contract specially in Service Management , as I know most of them use Z-Tables since various materials will have various validity dates and accordingly it get updated in the contract. So in your case if for all contracts if Validity is till 31.12.9999 then you can make changes in the contract creation program.
