Configuring E-Mail Notification for approval process

I have to configure E-mail notifications along with approval notifications in Recent notification Iview. Please share some information on this

Hi Rajasekhar,

You should have configed the e-mail transport and Subscription, then you will recive the notificator.

Is there any ways to remove such e-mail notification on particular repository only ? As this is more than 1000 documents i(created by some programs) n a KM folder (repository) that requires approval, the approver does NOT want to recieve 1000 e-mail.

Hi Raj,

Follow these steps to get it configured:

1) Go to System Admin->System config-> System landscape and create a system for lotus using the par file com.sap.netweaver.coll.appl.gw. Give the req. credentials.

2) Create a mail transport.Go to System Admin->System config->KM->Collaboration->Groupware transports->Mail Transport.

There you define your smtp server and give the neccessary credentials.

3) Go to System Admin->System config->KM-> Content Management-> Global Services->Notificator service (in show advanced options). Give the credentials as follows:

Channels: Email

Originators: notificator.EMAIL

Inbox Channel: INBOX

Templates directory: /etc/notifications

Select 'Active'

4)Go to System Admin->System config->KM-> Content Management-> Global Services->Mailing Service(in show advanced options).

Tick Active(in advanced options).

5) Go to Content Admin-> KM Content. go to /etc/notifications. In the permissions of this folder give the Everyone group read permission.

6) Confirm that every user has his/her mail address in his/her profile or else the mails wont be sent.

Which is your problem ? you don't receive any mail ?

Have you configured mail transport ?
