How to bill insurance in ISU

Hello Expert,

We are an utility company and have several divisions. So, our customer have one or more contracts (water, gas etc ...).

We also sell insurance for our customers (available for one or all his contracts).

Today, we use installation fact to bill this service (we need proration that why we don't use SD).

But we encounter some problems with this solution, because we must to link our insurance to an installation. In fact, for us, insurance should be division independant.

We would like to create an other division call "Insurances" for this kind of services.

To you think it's a good idea ? How can we do to bill this service without installation (we don't need installation for insurance). May be you could have better idea.

It could be very kind, if some of you can help us.

CW.

Hi CW,

You can create new division for insurance and enter the insurance details, Amt, number of policies in installation facts Reference Value operand. You can also select joint invoicing (with respective utility installation) at the time of move in.

With regards,

Sunil

Hi CW

You can use a seperate division and installation (no device) if you need it in the same billing cycle.

You can think about a manual bill.

You can also have a look to bill directy as FICA document (possebility for payment plan etc).

Cheers
