one table udo

Hello,

I have a user table @COMP with some fields. I'd like to do a UDO with it to act just like let's say the Setup -> Language form or like any other one table form. I've created an UDO that is a Master Data, but in my form, when I add a row to the table, it dissapears from the form. Also when I load the form it does not load the data from the table. The table and the form are connected, because data is sent to the table. Do you know why?

Thanks,

Irna

Hi Irina

I do not think you can use UDO for that exact purpose. UDO makes a whole numbering series and you would then be able to scroll through it like you can scroll through bp master and marketing documents. What happens once you add a bp record?? It adds all the info to the table and makes BP Master Data Fields Blank. I'm assuming the same is happening to you. To make it possible to scroll through all the records do the following

oForm.DataBrowser.BrowseBy = "UniqueField"

If you just want a screen with a matrix and NO series it's best to just manage it on your own.

Hope this helps
