GOS Services for VBAK

I'd like to use the GOS (generic object services) for VBAK. But the icon for the GOS is not appearing in VA01. Is there a sort of customizing in order to enable the transaction VA01 for the GOS services?

Hi,

Services for object is only available in transaction VA02/VA03, you can activate the Icon which will appear in the right hand top most corner of VA02/VA03 by adding SD_SWU_ACTIVE = 'X' in your user profile.

you can get to your user profile with transaction SU01 or thru menu option System-User Profile-Own Data, once done navigate to the tab titled Partners and add this value on SD_SWU_ACTIVE (Parameter ID) and 'X' in the (Partner Value)

Save your profile, you may need to log off and log back in for this setting to take effect
