Quality Inspection of Non Stock material

Dear Gurus,

My client wants to check quality of certain Non Stock materials procured.

These non stock material do not have Material Master.

Is it possible to bring these material in to quality during MIGO and check for certain minimum quality parameters.

Is this scenario possible with help certain movement type.

I.e.when we do goods receipt of the material using a movement type an inspection lot is generated for these Non items.

Please guide me if am wrong.

Dear,

Go to OMS2 select the Material Type NLAG :- Non-stock material go in details.

Active the quality view.

Then create the material master with inspection type 02 and whenever u make goods receipt for that order a lot will get generated only the difference will that in usage decision tab u can not post the material. or if 89 then trying to create a manual lot using QA01.

Insp. type "02" is for raw material issue to production

As you rightly said Non-stco materials do not have QM view.

Generally GR is made by 101 Mvt type.

There is one more alternative you can use is

103 Mvt .......when material Comes in factory

Then if Material is ok as per quality the follow 105 wrt 103 mvt type.

I think this wll solve your problem.
