NOT CONNECTING SAP

Hi Technology consultants,

I was installed ECC6.0 SR3 on AIX6.1 with maxdb7.6. After applying support patches the log is full.

I took logbackup, then i started database but r3 is not connecting.The dispatcher is not running all workprocess are going to ended.The trans log showing

ERROR => Connect to database failed, rc = -4008 (POS(1) Unknown user name/password combination)

i didn't changed any passwords.

please help me how to solve this issue.

Hello Srinivas,

1. As SAP customer you have the option to create the OSS ticket to the component "BC-DB-SDB" and get SAP support.

2. Please post the output of the following commands as <SID>adm user:

dbmcli db_enum -s

dbmcli inst_enum

xinstinfo <DB-SID>

hostname

xuser list

R3trans -d

R3trans -x

3. Did you adapt the XUSER data for the user under which the R/3 is running.?
