Custom Alert iView?

Hi All

I was wondering if it is possible to create an iView which displays alerts, for example if new news has been published or if a new document has been published to a collaboration?

I just want something that will let the users know what has been changed in the portal and what affects them?

Do es any one have and a example or even how to do this?

hi,

The Recent Notifications iView is your personal mail inbox for notifications. Notifications inform you about certain events or request certain actions that you can perform directly in the iView with a few clicks.

You receive a notification when a subscribed document is changed or when you are asked to approve a document prior to publication.

Hi,

You can use Recent Notification iview. Don't forget to subscribe documents or folders since where you want to be notified.

You subscribe a folder o document and define in which case you want to be notified.

Each time somebody modify a document or create a new on this folder, you will receive an alert in R.N. iview.
