RFC functionsmoduls - Parameters behind the sap-gateway

hello expert,

we are useing SAP RFC functionsmoduls, which are called over a BIZZ talk server. So far OK.

But sometimes a certain parameter comes cryptic into the functional module and i do not know why. I would like to examine the incoming parameter now directly behind the SAP-Gateway. Does a tracing/logging are exist for this?

Hi!

You may try it using transaction SMGW. There you can check the trace file and increase trace level. But please do not forget to decrease it again after doing all your checks. Another way would be an RFC trace using transaction ST01 (but here you are already in the "ABAP world").

If this does not help ask your network guys for any netspy functionality to trace the data packages on network level.
