How to set alert if many jobs are in WAIT state

Former Member

Dear Experts,

Is there any option available in CCMS where I can do the proactive monitoring so that if many jobs are in WAIT state, an alert will be thrown.

Or any other means from which I can get the alert.

Thanks in advance,

Amit

Dear All,

I went through the links and the details provided above. I checked in the system, there is

> Node display off

Background Processing

5 System Wide

5 Background

5 BackgroundService

SystemWideQueueLength 0 Jobs, Green 19.06.2009 , 06:57:04

SystemWideClassABPWP 2

SystemWideTotalBPWP 32

5 Background Processing Servers

5 SID\enx650_SID_00

R3Syslog\Background ( No value has yet been reported )

5 SID\enx650_SID_01

R3Syslog\Background (No value reported in the last 30 minutes)

4 Background

5 SID\enx650_SID_02

But I was not able to find where the settings are for triggering the email alert if all the background processes are occupied.

Hello Amit,

You can start off by looking at customizing CCMS using transaction RZ21.

There is lot of material out there on SDN and help.sap.com which can help you with what you are seeking for.
