material description in delivery

Hi experts,

How to make the field "material description" not to be editted in the delivery? The reason is the customer always overwrite it by mistake.

Pls advise. Thx.

Use T-Code SHD0, Transaction variant.... and make that in display only....

Hi,

Go to SE51 Give the program name as SAPMV50A & screen number 1104 click on change and now click on Layout icon double click on description now system will show you the details of LIPS-ARKTX, go to program details in attributes there you can able to keep Input not possible.

But for the above modification you requirie access key from SAP
