Dears,
Please .SCA and .SDA file which one we should apply by SDM and which one by JSPM and what is the difference between these files.
Please suggest.
Deepak
hi,
use JSPM to deploy the SDA files
Refer to Note 891983
[http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/a8/02784278b66255e10000000a155106/frameset.htm]
SCA Files
The startup file of SDM will be
\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMDS<INO.>\SDM\program
Then execute theRemoteGui.sh file
deploy your .SCA file

JSPM is not a seperate componet from SDM
JSPM uses SDM to deploy componenets
you can deploy .sca,.ear,.zip file
only difference is you can upgrade kernel using JSPM but not with SDM

Hi,
.sca stands for SAP Component Archive.
or .sda for SAP deployed Archive
These two are same and it use to deploy the java components,
patches and other java developments in the form of .sca,
.sda, .war and .jar.
You can deploy via SDM...somtimes you also deploy via JSPM but JSPM in turns use SDM to deploy these files..
