Hi,
How is lot size calculated?
I had made PO of 10 units.Unit of measure is each.Inspection type 01 active so inspection lot was created but the lot size was 1.66.
How is it possible to have lot size in decimal when unit of measure is "each"
from where was lot size calculated?
hi all,
I was doing GR in alternate unit of measure. Thus the lot size which was coming was after converting the GR unit into base unit.
Lot size will always be equal to the GR quantity otherwise.
Thanks evryone for contributing!!!

Hi
This may be because of conversion rule maitained in the Material master.

Dear Shreya
please check the GR Document again. It is not mandatory that EA will accept whole numbers only, EA will accept even decimals also. I have experienced this issue. Also make sure that there is no conversion factor maintained
Neways if i get the solution on this i will revert back. If you get the solution please do post .

Hello
What is the basic unit of measurement of the material that you have maintained. inspection lot will be based on the basic unit of measurement only

Dear Shreya
The sample is calculated based on the sampling procedure (QDV2) you attach to the mic in the inspection plan
For eg if you have maintained 10% as sampling procedure if your lot size is 10, 1 will be the sample size
