Short dumpt error when saving customer master

Dear all,

When I save customer master record, short dump error occur and error analysis as following:

Error analysis

Short text of error message:

Postprocessing Office not activated for synchronization process

Long text of error message:

Diagnosis

The Postprocessing Office (PPO) is not activated for the selected

synchronization process.

System Response

The system cannot create a PPO order.

Procedure

Inform your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administration

Activate the corresponding business process in Customizing for the

Postprocessing Office under Activate Creation of Postprocessing

Orders.

Technical information about the message:

Message class....... "MDS_PPO"

Number.............. 010

Variable 1.......... " "

Variable 2.......... " "

Variable 3.......... " "

Variable 4.......... " "

Any one have same problem before? Please help me to solve this. Thank you very much

The problem occurs when the PPO is not activated for customer master replication, I had the exact same issue.

To correct the problem go the configuration point :

Cross-Application Components/ General Application Functions/ Postprocessing Office/ Business Process/ Activate creation of Postprocessing Orders

In the configuration just had the AP-MD component and attach the relevant business process.

You can find the Business Process that is causing the dump by searching it for this string

LS_LOAD_API-BUSINESS_PROCESS

The name of the process will be in the line below that (e.g. CVI_01)

Just be aware, there may be more than one process missing from the configuration, so you might get another dump that looks the same, but is for a different Business Process (e.g. CVI_02).

I have never come across the error "Postprocessing Office not activated for synchronization process".

Anyway, In IMG, navigate to Cross-Application Components --> General Application Functions --> Postprocessing Office --> Business Processes --> Activate creation of Postprocessing Orders.

There check whether the settings are in line with standard SAP requirements but not sure this will solve the issue. Please update.
