Hi,
I think in CE there is no option for importing an .sda file.
In CE you can import an .sca file rather an .sda file
check this link for more clarity:
If you are doing this in your local environment not in NWDI you can follow the following steps:
create the DC again with the same name.
but u need to remove naming reservation in the sld of that dc.
After creating u need to copy the src folder from the old dc and paste it into the new dc src folder
it will ask u for replace all.
go on with replace all, and after copying. you need to close the project and open from navigation view.
in the navigator perspective only u can copy the src.
right click on dc and repair the project stucture.
reload and rebuild.
Here you can edit the file which you want, build the DC and deploy.
Hope this helps you...

Saleem

Hi,
In NWDI also you can create the DC in the software component of the track.
But if you are creating a Dc with same name you have to remove the naming reservation in the sld of that dc.
If you are creating a DC with different name just try in the same fashion which i have explained earlier, but take care that all your files in source folder has been added to the activity which you have created and then try to checkin the code and activate it.
Hope this helps you...

Saleem
