Integrating NW2004s BI with EP

While trying to open a 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN Web Temaplate in WAD, the get the error saying

"Java system Error: An unknown error occured during portal comminucation"

I have performed all the setup indicated in Note 888687 and have executed the RSPORT_SETUP. On enabling the trace.

I see the following error in "dev_jrfc.trc"

Exception thrown [Fri Apr 21 15:56:29,570]:Exception thrown by application running in JCo Server

java.lang.RuntimeException: com.sap.engine.services.rfcengine.RFCException: Bean RSWR_PREEXECUTION_PROXY not found

Any clue, what's going on ???

OSS note 917950 explains how to set up the connection between BW and Portal system.

Try executing the template from SE38 --> RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70 and see whether you are able to execute the template.

Also after applying SP7 you will have to activate all the templates related to 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN, OSS note 925351.
