I'm confused on this point.
I have two workbooks that each contain one query. The queries have selection fields that are popluated with customer exit variables for a hierarchy and period/fiscal year. When I create the Broadcast settings before I can save the settings it wants either a "variant" or to create a variant within the broadcast settings screen.
This is not what I wanted. I wanted the workbook to just use the data populated with the customer exit data. Any help would be great and will be rewarded !
Thanks
Richard
Hi Richard,
Follow these setps:-
1) Make the query variables as non-mandatory.
2) When you create a broadcast setting, dont specify a variant & dont assing any variables.
This should work for you,

Try to make the not ready for input and optional, in this case you will not have to create variant.
