"Connect to SAP gateway Failed"

Hi All,

I'm unable to connect to BEx Browser ( Start --> Programs --> SAP FrontEnd --> Business Explorer --> Browser) as well as Web Application Designer ( Start --> Programs --> SAP FrontEnd --> Business Explorer --> Web Application Designer )

After entering User & Passward, i am receiving a dump saying that "Connect to SAP gateway Failed"

Even i tried to connect to Web Application Designer, from Business Analyzer Menu ( Business Explorer --> Web Application Designer ), the result is the same.

Help required in this regard

create http and smtp entries through rz10 in instance profile if they r nt there

activate defaulthost through sicf

restart server.
