condition unit in condition record

Hi experts,

If not changing "Base Unit of Measure" KG in material master, any chances to default condition unit as TO?

Background: When creating orders, the customer want to keep sales unit as KG while unit price based on TO. If setting "sales unit" in material master as TO, there will be 2 unit of measure in the relevant documents/reports, such as MB51. They think it will easily cause confusion.

By the way, any more impact if making this change (sales unit as TO)?

Hello Cathy

You can keep the base unit as KG, receive sales orders in KG and price in TO's.This is aSAP standard functionality.

If I understood your requirement correctly then here is what you need to do...

At the time of maintaining the condition records for price use the TO as the condition unit .This way all your orders and inventory can be in KG but the pricing can be in TO.

Thanks

Hi Vikas,

However, my question is how to default TO in condition unit when creating condition record. Meanwhile, TO is not set as sales unit in material master while KG is set as unit of measure.

Any ideas?
