Problem in UI elements Navigation

Hi All,

I have created a Web Dynpro Application with around 15 inputFields and 10 dropdown fields.

When I deploy this application and try to navigate between various inputfields using 'tab' key, usually I was able to enter the data just by navigating using 'tab'. But now I am facing a problem, where in when I navigate using 'tab', though the control is going to the next inputField, I am not able to enter the data, i.e. I have click inside the inputField using the mouse, only then i will be able to enter the data.

One more thing I am facing this problem for say 10 fields and for other 5 fields it is working fine.

I checked deploying this application in various versions

in 7.00 SP 16 and 7.00 SP 15 I am not facing any problem

But only in 7.00 SP 18 I am facing the above mentioned problem.

Kindly let me know if you have any idea regarding this problem.

Meanwhile, I remember we had a similar problem in ESS and our BASIS guys resolved it by adding some Java patch. I will find out and will let you know.

Check note 1248027. Apply the current version patches for WebDynpro Runtime.

Hi Shilpa,

Please check whether the UI element has a label ,

Also check the properties of label , and Select input field name in 'label for' property.
