Points to consider for Upgrade of Backend ERP system

Hi Experts,

In our client set up, the Backend System of SRM is ECC 5.0. Now we are in the process of upgrading this backend system from ECC 5 to ECC 6.0

Would like to know the impact of this on the current SRM system.

Cares to be taken as far as the SRM system is concerned.

Any other useful stuff on this kind of upgrade.

Dear Gurus,

I am on the same situation.

Among other stuff related with this topic I have the following question:

If backend makes a conversion to UNICODE, would this conversion lead into problems within SRM and the interfaces between both systems?
