Hello Michael,
Kindly check http://service.sap.com/pam
The supported JSE for NW 7.02 is 1.4.2.
Anyway I recommed to install SAP JVM 4.1 as per:
Note 1495160 - SAP JVM as replacement for Partner JDKs 1.4.2
Cheers,
Diego.
Hello Diego,
thanks for the links. However they require a login to the SAP service marketplace but I don't have a user nor do I have a partner ID to register. Is there another way to retrieve a JRE which fulfills the requirements for the minisap NW7.02 system? I run a Win7 64 bit system.
Cheers,
Michael
Hello Michael,
Where did you get a NW 7.02 trial with java stack for Windows??
As per the official link:
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-downloads
The only doble stack version is 7.0 and is on linux.
As per the PAM a NW 7.02 on Windows x64 can be used with SUN JSE 1.4.2 64BIT.
Anyway, check what I stated before.
Cheers,
Diego.
Hi Diego,
in the meantime I have a Java 1.5. running on my PC.
When you go to the download section of the NW test versions you'll find to downloads for
* SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 SP6 64-bit Version - Developer Edition
* SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 SP6 64-bit Trial
I am running an Win7 Home Premium, SP1. Is it a big difference to a Win7 Pro?
Cheers,
Michael
