BOM Cost

Hi All,

I have a question regarding Bill of Material Costing.

I have a BOM article, sure it consists of components, and these compaonents have cost, so my question is,

how can we configure SAP to calculate the cost of the compaonents and updates the cost of the BOM automatic?

Hi, Ahmed,

Just check the cost determination indicator in the respective item categories of the main item and its components.

Sorry, I'm not an expert at BOM!

But, valuation price control, be it standard or moving average price, of any material is set in the material master data, view Accounting 1. This is where you should start from.
