Picking/ Order Status

Dear All,

I have a scenario.

The warehouse management is not active.

The availability check has been activated for delivery item category and switched off for Schedule Line category.

Now I create an order for 100 pieces of material X.

When I go to VL01N the system messages in the log indicate that only 60 pieces of material are available. The delivery qty field in the picking tab has only 60 pieces and now if I select 60 pieces in the picked qty field and do PGI. After this when I check the document status it shows the order status as completed although the 40 pieces have still not been delivered.

As per my knowledge the status of the order should be being processed because 40 pieces still remain to be delivered.

Can anybody help me out in finding out why this is happening and what has gone wrong?

Hi,

Check your Item Category in VOV7

Under Business data>Completion rule.

If given there A - Item is completed with first reference.

Change A and give B or C and try.
