Billing data copied in to Accounting document

Dear Gurus,

i wanted to copy some fields from billing document to accouting document...i know there is not copy control rule as such....

please let me know if any setting is there to copy billing document details like Personal number to accounting document.....

In billing at header level, you can see a tab "Header", where you can see the following fields

a) Reference and

b) Assignment

In copy control VTFL, at header level you can see these two fields. Whatever value you maintain there, based on that data will be copied into billing document and the same will also be copied to accounting document when the billing document is released to accounting.

For the same thread problem what settings need to be maintained in VTFL @ header level, E for assignment and reference nos. or something else. Please enlighten us all.

Yes,you have to maintain E for reference number and assignment number in VTFL T.Code.
