Hi All,

I am new to Mobile Webdynpro, I want to develop sample mobile webdynpro applciation. Could anybody please guide me how to proceed?and also please provide step by step procedure to develop Mobile WD.

Hi Aishwarya,

I want to test my application on BlackBerry Simulator, I have downloaded the same and while testing my sample welcome applciation it is giving me an error, I am not able to connect to the net. Could you please tell me how to configure the simulator, what are the steps needed to connet to internet from simulator.

Yeh, I have installed both blackberry simulator and MDS. First I have run the MDS and later I run blackberry to test my applciation, in mds logs also I did not find any errors. Initially I have checked with the google.com but I have failed to connect.

You need to provide it in [HTTP HANDLER]

application.handler.http.proxyHost = (message server Host)

application.handler.http.proxyPort = (message server Port)

Host and port of Message server where application is deployed..

MDS has to know where it has to pick the application from; when you provide it the URL......

For that you have to provide message server's host and port

It got solved, I am able to connect internet. Thank you very much for your cooperation. One small issue, I am not able to connect to my portal. Where we need to give the server settings in the properties file.

Any webdynpro application can be tested as a sample mobile webdynpro application..

Are you planning to work on any emulator?

Thanks for the qucik response. Yeh I want to test the same, I want to test my applciation on mobile.

I have already gone thorugh the link provided by you, I have downloaded the simulatros and tested the applcaition but I am failed when testing the applicati i mobile. It is giving me an error "unable to connect to selected Mobile Data Device", What I need to do to resolve my issue?

Could you please tell me in which scenarios we will go for mobile ? Please provide me a good document to start.
