The text determination need the following functions to determine text. Select the correct answers

1. Condition Table

2. Access Sequence

3. Text Type

4. Text Determination procedure

5. Condition records

Answer : 2, 3, 4.

Condition table and condition records are not necessary.

Yes Text determination peocedure depends on three following factors :

1. Define Text Type

2. Define Access sequence for this Text Type.

3. Define and assign Text Detrmination Procedure

Plz refer to the t-code "VOTXN" for more details on Text detrmination.

Path --> IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Basic Function --> Text Control.

Hi

Yes you are right text determination does not require condition table and condition records.

Text determination is done by using Text id's which are stored in table VBBK

We will be assigning the text id's to text procedure and finally this text procedure is assigned to customers or sales docs etc

Hi Ashish,

The text determination is SAP is basically happened by two process 1. From Customer Account group, and 2. With condition technique.

As per your question, The condition record and condition table are not necessary for text determination its correct, but here we do maintain the text id. and Text by access sequence search for the Text id in documents

based on document type and flows the text.

Like in Sales Order / Delivery / Invoice : Text is determined based on its document types.

In Text determination we do not specifically maintain the condtion records in condition tables.
