problem during upload of Inspection Plans using BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE

All,

We are trying to create inspection plans using the bapi BAPI_INSPECTIONPLAN_CREATE. However we are unable to create it as we are getting an error for the bapi which tells us :

"This inspection point completion is not possible for task list type Q"

we are giving the following fields :

PROFILE

VALID FROM

TL_USAGE

task list desc

PLANT

TL_STATUS

from lot size

Inspection Point

TL_UOM

MATERIAL

ACTIVITY

Work center

CONTROL KEY

STANDARD TEXT KEY

INSP. CHAR

MSTR_CHAR

CHA_MASTER_IMPORT MODUS

SMPL_PROCEDURE

SMPL_UNIT

SMPL_QUANT

Are we missing something here ? Is there something else that we should be giving to the BAPI or is there anything missing from the functional perspective ?

Hi

This message is due to selection of Inspection point completion.

You have selected inspection point say 100 then............

go to operation overview & Check the entry " Quntity ,valuation& comfirmation(Production)" under QM:Inspection point.

Check following.....

This inspection point completion is not possible for task list type Q

Message no. QP259

Diagnosis

A quantity assignment and confirmation are not possible for this task list type:

Procedure

Use one of the possible inspection completion variants:

Valuation

Automatic inspection point valuation

Thank you for your help. In Coding, we had changed the Valuation to "Automatic inspection point valuation" in all but one place and that was causing the error.

Your answer was perfectly on target though.
