UDS install on Vista (Ultimate)

I have installed UDS 4.0 on vista ultimate. There were no error messages during the installation process.

However, it does not let me create a UDS instance. It gives an exception (xml like) error message.

I repeated the same steps on my XP professional laptop, and it seems wo work well.

I have a local matrikon instance to connect to on both machines.

Has anybody been successful at making UDS work on Vista ?

I do not think vista is supported:
