Project for TMS

Hello,

I need to create a project for collecting / assigning transports to. How do I do this? Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi

You can try the below steps for creating Project for assigning Transport Request's.

1.Go to spro_admin

2.Create New project

3.Project Name should not be more than 10 ch

4.Define the description and scope of the project/duration of the project

5.For making project as a container of change request .we have to activate CTS functionality

6.Once the CTS is activated ,We can assign change requests to the project. We can see this assignment in the request overview

7.As per your requirement , you can have the below naming convention

8.We have total 10 digits to specify Project Name

XXX_Y_ZZZZ

X- Country name

y- Technical or functional

Z- Package name

9. You may need to activate CTS in each clinet if you have multiple clients.

10. You may need to create the Projects for Functional and Technical transport Requests separately.This will help you filter the Transport Requests during mass transports.
