Please share location or information on minimum system requirements for installing SAP software ECC 6.0 as a development environment.

I need primarily information on OS, Database, Web Server etc.,

Hi,

The following are the minimum system requirements for ECC 6.0 SR3 installation:

Minimum disk space

1) Database Software:

1 GB (x64)

2 GB (IA64)

2) SAP system files (not including paging file):

5 GB (x64)

8 GB (IA64)

3) SAP database files (not including paging file):

78 GB

4) Up to 2 GB for each usage type or software unit you want to install.

5) 4.3 GB of temporary disk space for every required installation DVD that you have to copy to a local hard disk

Minimum RAM

6GB

Paging file size

1 times RAM plus 8 GB

Go http://service.sap.com/instguides & download instguide for your OS & DB. All minimum requirement are mentiond in the document.

If you are going for IDES version then check SAP Note 1244548 IDES ERP 6.0 ECC 6.0 SR3

You need to check the http://service.sap.com/pam for Supported Product available on different os and Datasbase and the installation guide which is available on http://service.sap.com/instguides.

In this guide all the information is available.
