Graphical Mapping: Target field not created if input = ResultList.SUPPRESS

I have a simple user-defined Java function in the XI graphical mapping tool which has two strings (a and b) as input parameters.

a and b have the occurrence 0..1 in the source document. Everything is working fine if the occurence is 1 for both, however if a or b is not available (input = ResultList.SUPPRESS) the target element is not created.

But I need to create the target element even if only a or b is available in the source document. How can I achieve this? Thanks for your help.

Hi Tanja,

You can achieve this by using node functions "Exists" with the help of if-else-if built in functions.

Also you can try with CreateIf Method in the mapping.

Hope this helps,
