Product as material

Dear All,

I was looking for material no. in SRM. Someone suggested that Product be considered. Product is of Raw16. How can it be converted to material no. Char 18.

Product ID in SRM is same as Material Master number in R3. Fiest you need to replicate Material master data from R3 to SRM. Then you will be able to search the Product ID in the shopping cart by choosing the link "Internal Goods/Services".

_AVAILABILITY' from SRM. But I have product ID, not material no. How can product be converted to material?

Hello,

You take the guid (PRODUCT) from the S/C and look it up in COMM_PRODUCT. The PRODUCT_ID in COMM_PRODUCT os what you want.
