Hai Gurus,

I have one scenario.

My Final product is Rectified Spirit which follows the following sequence of operation.

1) Milling - Corn is made powder and mixed with water to form slurry 1

2) Cooking - Slurry is mixed with enzymes and sulfuric acid to form slurry 2

3) Fermentation - The slurry 2 is Fermented by adding yeast/lime and kept for 48 hrs to under go

fermentation and form fermented slurry 3

4) Distillation - The fermented slurry 3 is heated and liquefied to form Rectified spirit

The addition of enzymes/sulphuric acid/yeast/lime in various above stages is based on the % of sugar.

in the sample drawn for every 2hrs in a shift .

Also temperature and pressure is maintained at each stage .

How to Map sap for QM factor.

Dear Sekar

1) yes you are right.you can create mic for pH and temperature

2) for PP - PI the process is same. You can attach the mic in the recipe

Dear Sekar

Create routing with 4 operations.activate inspection type 03 with inspection point and MIC of % sugar. maintain inspection point reference as time based and time factor as 2 hours. You will get inspection point after every 2 hours. You can record % sugar every 2 hours and accordingly issue the ingredients

please let me know if you need any more clarification

Hai Gajesh,

Thanks for your reply,

Based on your reply I have the following query.

1) As I want to maintain and record other parameters like PH & temperature other than % of sugar, if

so how to go about( whether I had to create MIC for PH and temperature and assign the same in routing).

2) whether inspection point concept is possible in PP-PI scenario, if so how to go about.

Your detailed explanation will be much useful.

Hai,

Sample drawn at every 2 hrs and parameters like Ph,temperature, % of sugar is checked.

Based on the result the qty of enzymes, sulphuric acid, yeast , lime is added to bring the Ph and

% of sugar in each process( Cooking/fermentation and Distillation) to the specified value.

How to go about.
