Error after adding Child node

Hi Experts,

I have created a Data object by importing as "BAPI Wrapper" . It had a Parent node and a child node. Now i added one more child node.

But if i am activating this node it is giving below error.

Object not adequately specifiedError

Hi,

Check whether backend key fields are mapped correctly for your child node. If not map it manually.

Hi Dhana,

I have deleted the child node and added these attributes in header so now i can activate this header structure but when i tried to activate BA after mapping , then it says

Invalid field mapping

But i have counter checked everything is fine even when i checked my BA with "Error check" button it didn`t give any error. Any idea how to sort it out.

Hi,

I think backend adapter still have old mapping details. So press 'Adjust adapter and DataObject' button in adapter. It will take care of clearing the old mappings.

Hello Abhishek...

As you already said..you have one parent and one child node when you first cerated DO.

You used BAPI WRAPPER import for creating DO's right?

So if you add new child it fails.

You need to delete your backend adapter , then add a child node and then recreate your BAPI

This should work fine..please check by trying this..
