How the requirement type is copied to sales order?

Hello,

The requirement type is not copied to few sales order in "Procurement" tab. For the same material, its copied to some other sales orders.

MRP is not maintained for the material.

Can anyone advice the reason?

Hi

In T code OVZI Your sales order item category and the MRP type maintained in MMR is linked to requirement type and this assignment will only make it (that is requirement type) to flow in the sales order in the procurement tab and in OVZI give the origin of requirement type as 1

For the same material, its copied to some other sales orders.

This means for those same items must be having different item categories in those orders and check that

We do not maintain the MRP3 view in MMR.

OVZI settings are maintained correctly as mentioned by you. Also, the item category is same for material in all sales orders.

Thats the reason i am confused. Any clue?

Dear Guru,

I have the same issue. No MRP views are maintained and i want to carry out availability check but the requirement type is not copying in the order procurement tab. Its causing the stock to be confirmed even if there is no quantity available.

Hello Hemkant,

We do not use the MRP3 view.

Maint. status in MARA-PSTAT is KCVEB.

Is there any other check point?
