Hi Experts,

One of our SAP RETAIL users is facing an issue while exporting the data from the SAP Web application to an excell/spread sheet on his local desktop.

the problem in the user's words is " when I run the report for physical inventory variance through SAP it does not allow me to export to an excel file. Per streamline instructions I should be able to export to an excel file in order to complete the process of reconciling inventory but it does not allow me to export"

Kindly help me resolve the issue

Thanks in advance

-Regards

Venu

Well - permission problem? local Excel working? Does the transaction offer the download?

Thanks for the quick responce.

Markus,

Everthing is looking good from user's end. He used to export the data in the past, nothing has changed from user end ( permissions ) and from SAP end as well. Local excel is looking good. The transaction is offering the download.

What are the other possibilities ?

Thanks in advance.

Well, with just the description (as you posted)

> when I run the report for physical inventory variance through SAP it does not allow me to export to an excel file.

it's impossible to suggest anything.

There can be a thousands of reasons why "something is not working". SAP permissions, local permissions, recent Microsoft hotfix installations, firewalls, temporary directories not available (on network), OLE-Automation problems, user parameters (in SU01)...

I would ask the users which steps he performs and then try to reproduce the problem. If you can, please post what error message you get or what symptoms you see, then we might be able to help you.

Hi Markus,

The issue is when user tries to export any report in SAP to a local file. After user attempt it, an error message populates in the lower left corner and then SAP will just spool/think forever and user has to force-close the browser window. User is accessing SAP through URL.

The error message is u201C? load: class Query not foundu201D

Thanks in advance

You may need to increase the limit the Java download process can use:

Hinweis 1343993 - ITS Up/Down: upload of big files

Hi Markus,

The note. 1343993 is relavant to the error

Symptom

Trying to upload a big file gives the following error in the java console:

"java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space".

but in my case error is u201C? load: class Query not foundu201D.

Please suggest me if you have any other note numbers (or) alternate solutions.

Appreciate your reply.

Thanks,
