Hola, tengo duda de para que sirve la revalorizacion de Inventarios, alguien tiene algun comentario??
Dear Yessic,
the Inventory Revaluation process can be used to change the cost of an item and adjust it by the user, when it is necessary. In this case you can revaluate inventory values by:
1) Changing the price for a specific item
The inventory price is changed and inventory value is recalculated according to the new price
2) Changing the value of a specific quantity of inventory
The quantity of inventory remains unchanged, resulting in a change in the price
It is also important to highlight that when the inventory is subject to FIFO control and there are items in the FIFO layer, an inventory debit or credit results in a posting to the inventory account. If the FIFO layer is empty, the posting goes to the price difference account.
I hope it can clarifies the Inventory Revaluation process.
