IDES ECC 6.0 SR3 client 800 login issue "Logon currently not possible ! BI"

Hello there...

I have just installed IDES ECC 6.0 SR3, Win2003, MaxDB, and i am not able to login any of ides clients 800, 810, 811 & 812 using custom user id. i am able to login with sap* and ddic but not any other user id. getting error message "Logon currently not possible ! BI Client".

The SAP SID I choose was "ERP", I am curious whether "ERP" is forbidden for ECC SID ?

Any help or guide is highly appreciated.

you need to install a SAP license in order to use this system.

request a license from http://service.sap.com/licensekeys

about an hour later, you should receive a license key in your email system.

now, login into client 000 onto your new system with user SAP* and go into transaction SLICENSE.

click on NEW LICENSES

click on INSTALL

I believe the license is already applied before I create new user, so that's mean the issue is not related to license.

status must be GREEN in the NEW LICENSE section.

Thanks Subash, I found statement in the notes:

Problems with System ID:

"Please do not use ERP as SID for your IDES system. This will lead

to logon failures once the system is installed."

There should be a solution for the system that been installed without any error. I think for now the solution is changing the SID name other than ERP.

"ERP" is not reserve as per the installation guide. All the reserve word you can find into installation guide.
