number ranges from EXTERNAL to INTERNAL

Dear all,

I want to change the Customer Master number ranges from EXTERNAL to INTERNAL.

Is it possible (and recommended) to do so with the same number range?

I tried to do so and following are the observations:

1- It started from the very first number (and not from the last created)

2- Though it is creating in sequence but in OVZC it is showing a random jump (after 9309100005 the next showing is 9309100009 though the one created is 9309100006)

Please give your inputs.

Regards

Ya, i did that..and now it is starting from the last created.

However, in OVZC it is not displaying in sequence though it created in sequence (It created 06...in OVZC current number before creating was 05 now it is showing 10...why?)

Thanks

Hi

I am creating the customer master.

But the generated series is like this:

200000

200005

200006

200007

200008....

A gap of 4 at the beginning but then it is coming in sequence.

Does anyone have any idea why it is so?

Thanks

Hello

Check whether there is any update terminate for the customer master.

Go to SM13 T code

and see whethere there is update terminate for XD01.

Buffering can also be the problem.
