Program correction

Dear all

I want to ensure that a particular program correction can be directly apply to Production server 46B.As we have no longer the dev and test server.This is our old server to view the old records only.What all steps to follow to make the changes in the PROD.

Hello,

If you want to change the program directly in Production system,

then go to SCC4, change <b>Changes to Repository and client-ind. customizing allowed</b> in <u>Client indipendent object changes.</u>

Hello Siladitya,

Firstly the program which u want to change is it custom or std? If it is std then u will need access key to change it and if not then u can directly change the program. However the normal process is change the code in deve system and then unit test the object and move it into Quality system for further testing and once the object is done with all the testing moves into production. In your case u directly want to change the program in production so there could be issue with ownership of the object and it may just convert the object as local.
