Storage location field in service PR

Hi,

I am not able to find the storage location field in service PR generated through PS. This field is available for material component but not for external activity with service.

Actully i have a project which have multiple storage location thats why i need that field for external service PR

Storage location is required for stocks which are inventorised. Service is consumed when Service entry sheet is made. So there is no need for a storage location for Service.

I have a similar issue where I need storage location in PR where it has no material in it, instead has a text only and hence there is no link between material and storage location.

I need the storage location in PR  for a different purpose anyway...

Is there a way we can bring storage loc in PR without a material in it?

Hi,

there is no need of storage location for external services.

storage location:

storage location at which the material is stored.

an organizational unit allowing differentiation between the various stocks of a material in a plant.

Hi Kalpesh,

For Service PO what is the need of Storage location ?? If you want to differentiate project wise Services, you can use account assignemnt in service PO.
