NWA tool execution in PI 7.1

Hello Friends

I have installed a PI 7.1 system with oracle 10g.

as per installation guide I have performed the basis post installation steps.

I have to now execute nwa wizard.

as i am doing this 1st time I am not sure how to continue.

Can you assist me for the same?

Have you completed the Netweave Initial Setup step as mentioned in SAP note 1309239 (Configuration Wizard: PI NetWeaver initial setup) and AE initial setup as mentioned in SAP note 1314855 ( Configuration Wizard: PI-AE initial setup )?

Am not sure with 7.1 but in 7 u wud have a drop down "Description" select and run the template.

i wanted for PI 7.1

I have executed as mentioned in the guide

Procedure

1. After SAPinst has finished, open the SAP NetWeaver Administrator by entering the following URL

in a browser: http://<host>:<http_port>/nwa.

2. Log on as user Administrator.

3. In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator, choose Configuration Management Scenarios Configuration

Wizard .

The system displays the NetWeaver Initial Setup task.

4. Select the task in the list, and choose Start.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

6. After the configuration wizard has finished successfully, restart your SAP system.

But when starting it asks for entries which i doubt what to fill.

Hi!

Do you mean the SLD entries? If you have no existing SLD to connect to choose local server. This will activate and configure the local SLD on your PI system. The other questions are - as far as i remember - passowrd questions. Please enter the passwords you used during the installation process.

It asks for Master user password

for ex : in case of SLD u need to give SLD USER and Master pass which u have given first.

Even u have to given SLD Host link.

I followed the two notes and gave the password entries.

Configuration wizard completed sucessfully.
