Problem while deploying

Hi all,

I had using nwds 4.0 version previously....

Now i have installed nwds 7.1 version .........

after installing i developed a sample application to test it while deploying i am getting the following error

Looking for deploy controller deploy mechanism...

SDm port not defined or nor found...

found sdm host:...

checking for sdm host..

start deplyment....

can any one help me to solve this issue.........

What is your problem exactly? Have you finally managed to deploy the application successfully? I'm asking because I see "start deplyment...." which means the deployment was started.

hi,

yaa at first it's showing as start deplyment...

after that it's not deploying it's showing the messages as given above...

it's asking for sdm port.

i know where to give the port no in nwds 4.o version but now i am using nwds 7.1 version i am not getting the option to set the sdm port no in it..

so any one help me to solve te issue.........

Hi,

Go to J2EE Engine view and see whether all the services are up an running or not.

You can see this by window -> show view -> J2EE Engine.

Let us know what it is showing. (It should show all in green)

Hi,

I have seen this thread before....but i am unable to add sdm in sap enterprice portal as given in above thread..

I have a doubt the server will also have java 1.5 version while we are using java 1.5 version in the client side...

hi,

actually the problem with installation procedure....and version of java in server is less than jdk 5.0

stilll now my problem is not fully solved it's showing the message as

in the output i.e in explorer it's showing the message as object not created...

i think this is the problem with java in the server...
