Block customer in delivery xd05

Hi All

Please suggest me, why we are using XD05, if i block where it will impact all company codes & sales areas. i am waiting for your valuable inputs.

Hi

If you use the XD05 the customer can be blocked for all the company codes

similarly if you use VD05 the customer can be blocked for sales areas

Pilla,

Some times business demands to discontinue the customer for various reasons, may be the past transctions or any thing. So they can block that customer in XD07.

When the customer is blocked in this no one can create any of the Transactions for this customer.

The Advantage is that, when we want to again continue the relationship we can by just removing the block.

Hi

XD05 is useful if the block is to be set centrally and we can also set the block for that specific sales area. We can use it for both purposes. XD05 is like a combination of VD05(SD related) and FD05(FI related).

If you want to bock just for delivery then Just put bock on Ship to party in XD02 (Sales area data) . If you want to block customer overall then use xd05
